Accomplishments

Rated outstanding in overall performance at Ford Motor Co Powertrain test labs in (ATDL) Livonia Mi for most of my last ten years.

Ford motor Co Vehicle Evaluation and Verification Powertrain Awards.

1)Gear Life Fatigue Testing September 2007
One of three team members in the development of the automated
Gear Life Test "GLT" program. Test was implemented lab wide to
run gear fatigue tests 24 hours a day continuous until test targets
were met or timed intervals for test part removal and inspection.

Stop start testing exhaust gas moisture condenser. September 2017
Due to the nature of stop start testing and long periods of engine
idle conditions, large amounts of condensate would accumulate in the
test cell exhaust evac systems. This overwhelming of the exhaust
system by moisture would lead to intervals of regular downtime which
necessitated building trades involvement and cause considerable
amount of lost test time. My team built and installed
a system where engine exhaust was run thru a chilled (with cold process water)
low restriction heat exchanger. The moisture in the exhaust would now condense
out of the exhaust and then be drained away into lab drainage system. Downtime
in the start stop cells due to water condensate became a thing of the past.
Previous lab exhaust systems had to be drained about every 5 days and lost
test time was an entire 8 hr shift. This process was rolled out to the entire
company for future use.

I believe my biggest contribution to FOMOCO was The continuous training and mentoring of new lab employees.

lab liaison in the onboarding of new Engineers into ATDL Powertrain engineering operations processes and capabilities.
