Community Service

During my academic journey, I enthusiastically volunteered with organizations such as the Huntington's Disease Society of America and the Special Olympics, alongside various other outreach programs. Occupational therapy plays a crucial role in supporting individuals with Huntington's disease (HD) by addressing the challenges they face in daily functioning and quality of life. Additionally, my involvement with the Special Olympics allowed me to foster inclusivity and promote physical activity among individuals with intellectual disabilities. Through my participation in diverse outreach initiatives, I developed a profound understanding of the importance of empathy, advocacy, and community involvement in enhancing the quality of life for individuals facing diverse challenges.
