My primary role is to help create a comforting and positive environment by engaging children in age-appropriate activities such as reading, playing games, or doing crafts, while also offering a friendly presence to reduce stress during hospital stays. We also assist with delivering toys or supplies, tidying play areas, and supporting staff with light tasks that enhance the patient experience. This role requires empathy, patience, confidentiality, and a calm, dependable demeanor to help make each child’s hospital stay a little brighter.
