Current aircraft electrical and environmental (E&E) systems craftsman at Channel Islands ANGB. I have been on MAFFS and TDY missions. I possess a SECRET security clearance and am fully qualified as an E&E 5-level. Key duties and qualifications include, but are not limited to:
Perform maintenance, inspections, diagnose malfunctions, read/interpret wiring diagrams and schematics, and run/use test and support equipment on C-130J aircraft, using precision measuring equipment and common hand tools.
Install, maintain, repair, and modify alternating current generators, power distribution, lighting, emergency warning, crew comfort, cabin pressurization, oxygen systems, and all other related electrical and environmental system components.
Document aircraft 781 A/K/H series (aircraft discrepancy and status forms), maintenance records, and update automated maintenance data collection systems.
Coordinate, implement, and suggest aircraft modifications by Time Compliance Technical Orders and technical data changes, with depot support.
Expertise/Experience
While on MAFFS, I helped with two redball jobs that saved the mission each time and allowed aircraft to launch on time.
Provided assistance and technical expertise in which various parts have been troubleshot and changed to include anti-skid transducers, shutoff valves, starter control valves, engine speed and temperature gauges, fuel panel electrical components, broken/shorted fuel wiring, and assisting with borescope inspections (borescope certified).
Handpicked to be the PMEL equipment monitor, in which all equipment was inspected in a timely manner to ensure they never go out of date, and are always available for use.
Led multiple Time Compliance Technical Order teams, including engine rewiring, smoke detector bonding wires, inspection and/or replacement of NESA window relays, and rewiring of ECBU circuit breaker ground wires.
I volunteered for orders to support aircraft while the unit was deployed to Djibouti.
I volunteered for MAFFS orders during the Cal Fires to assist with acceptance inspections and maintenance on aircraft.
Accomplished Airmen Leadership School Distance Learning Program. Skills learned have been used to become a better supervisor and leader at work, and to assist peers in learning and leading the best they can.
Selected as training monitor on drill weekends to train three levels and ensure they accomplish their five-level tasks in upgrade training.
I volunteered multiple times for the before-and-after shift red-ball team to ensure aircraft launches on time, with no discrepancies.
