I love challenging myself with new tasks, and realize while I may be new to an official restaurant setting, I feel my drive to learn and listen and obtain new tasks will suit me well. I hope for a job which will teach me different useful skills which I can carry forward, and also present the opportunity to try out new things and life experiences.   • Worked with the local staff, speaking in Spanish and comminuting with classes of all different ages, creating unique lesson plans each day.
  • Based in Guatemala City, Safe Passage is a school, opened to provide schooling for kids of parents working in the Guatemala City garbage dump.
  • It was amazing to see the vibrance in these kids, having such a passion for learning despite having so little in their households.
  • Led group discussions and activities to meet different community needs.
  • Used strong interpersonal communication skills to convey information to others.
  • Represented organization positively and professionally while providing community with much-needed services.
  • Participated in volunteer orientations and training sessions to learn about organizational changes and mission updates.
