Projects
MCO Medical Claims Data Macro:
While at the SCDHHS, I built a macro to sort 80,000+ lines of quarterly claims data sent in from the MCO's working with the SCDHHS.
My macro:
- Reorganized raw data columns into a standardized format
- Deleted all non-medicaid-relevant data
- Found and moved to another sheet all "voids" (no longer valid) claims data
- Marked all data containing certain codes as "Encounters"
- Created collections of data that matched certain criteria and tested for and "caught" duplicate claims, duplicate encounters, and denied encounters
- Performed smaller tasks such as correcting all fee-for-service data, highlighting data containing certain codes, and correcting number formatting
GME Sorting Macro:
Also while at the SCDHHS, I created a macro to sort through GME data.
My macro:
- Created new "duplicate" tabs to sort GME data
- Sorted GME data into "buckets" depending on their claim type
- Checked new GME data against old GME data for duplicates
