Elijah Medina

The Catacombs is a volunteer ran haunted house that takes place in the month of October. Volunteers work about 5 to 6 hours on Fridays, Saturdays, and sometimes Sundays.

I went on a trip to Saint Louis for some volunteer work through the Lasallian Youth. Some volunteer work done on this trip was packaging boxes of food, cleaning/landscaping the La Salle Retreat Center, and help clean the Fisher veterans' home in Saint Louis.

I assisted building and putting up cabinets to help complete a home under construction. This was done on an active construction site.

I assisted moving boxes, refilling sample stations, and handing out samples my self.

I got the opportunity to help the hungry and serve them soup, drinks, and had conversations with them.
