My dream job is to be a mother to my future kids, until then I want to learn different things that would be used in a home or for hospitality use. So learning how to make good meals, homesteading type stuff, and learning how to be hospitable and caring to anyone that is in my life at the moment.
Summit Ministries is a non- profit organization that teaches young adults to defend their faith. My job was to lead a team of people to have food ready for them three times a day during the summer conferences. Summit's standard of food was to have healthy, delicious, well presented food because this tends to cause conversations to start around a good plate of food. What I learned form it is that people work at different levels and work well with different people, also to pivot all the time whether that is because students are eating everything or we don't have a main ingredient.
This was my first job the farm was swamped with work and needed someone to come and make cheese so I was able to do it. I learned the differences between raw and pasteurized milk and the health benefits of both. It was also just really interesting to learn how to make cheese.
I love to do outdoor adventures, reading, baking, and learning about church traditions.
