Elisabeth Fontaine, M.D.

Swanton,VT

Summary

After 27 years of clinical practice that culminated in building and directing in a new field of Lifestyle Medicine, I am now using my expertise in well-being combined with leadership coaching to offer peer to peer physician presence. My vision is to inspire a new way of thinking about what they want to accomplish for themselves and the impact they want to make in their life and work grounded in well-being.

An innovative visionary leader focused on developing and executing programs for the greater good of the population. I am passionate and driven to help people achieve lifestyle changes for improving health of the collective community. The journey to develop RiseVT and LifeStyle Medicine at Northwestern Medical Center as the medical director has inspired me to coach and mentor physicians in leadership role. I have influenced the development of best practice standards in primary and secondary prevention through education, research, and evaluation culminating to selecting programs such as CHIP, WellCoach, and EPODE as well as developing the BetterU program. I am a connector bringing the the right people together and engaging teams to emerge the future.

With a foundation in Obstetrician/Gynecologist for 25 years, fellowship trained in Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine and Plant Base Nutrition, a Business Partner in a private practice for 18 years, a graduate from Duke University in the Leadership Program in Integrative Health Care,
Board Certified in Lifestyle Medicine since 2017 and Fellow of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine since 2018, now enrolled in the Healthcare Coaching Institute, I am coaching leaders and physicians to their full potential in work and life through the development of Let's Lead LLC.
