I'm a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with progressive career history in direct patient care on units like Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Cath Lab RN (CVL) and Flex RN in areas: (Short Stay, PACU, OR). I have worked for Hays Medical Center for the past 15 years, but am now looking at other career opportunities. I am ACLS and BLS certified and have proven to remain calm under pressure; skillfully handling difficult patients and high-stress situations. Some of my daily duties include monitoring patient vital signs before, during and after sedation. I have experience administering sedation during minor procedures and giving other medications during procedures that are required at that time. In addition, I can get patients ready prior to procedures and recover them post anesthesia. I can help circulate minor procedures like EGDs, Colonoscopies and Bronchoscopies. I have consistently developed strong relationships with my co-workers, patients and families through empathetic communication, respectful attitude, and excellent customer service.
