Elizabeth Easterling

• Volunteered and taught a variety of clients and groups relating to equine assisted therapy and teaching those with disabilities horsemanship skills both on the back of the horse and on the ground.
• Began apprenticeship program to go towards application requirements for Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship(PATH) certification for therapeutic riding

• Work as a ranch assistant and a mentor
• Feeding horses, leading and side walking horses during lessons, and horse exercise through groundwork, riding, and teaching some lessons
• Assisting with clients with a variety of abilities

• Junior Volunteer at camps for children with and without disabilities
• Horse leader at therapy sessions both with adults and children with disabilities

• Teaching group and individual therapeutic riding lessons for 45 minutes to an hour while being observed by a Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH) Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (CTRI) in order to become certified by PATH and to gain more experience.
• Working with individuals with a variety of disabilities.

Sidewalker and instructor assistant to get more education on therapeutic riding and to prepare for mentorship for the summer of 2022

• Given a horse from a rescue situation, evaluated and trained to be able to go into a new home, and enter competition, pleasure riding or to be a horse for ground work.
