6
years of professional experience

I have been a Police Officer with the City of Tallahassee's Police Department for the past 6 years. Prior to joining the department, I worked a variety of customer service focused businesses. I was an Office Manager for a company with over 100 employees for approximately 7 years. I was tasked with problem-solving, multi-tasking, hiring and terminating employees, bookkeeping, sales, commissions, contracts, civil litigation, and networking. I gained knowledge in leadership, working with others, negotiations, and other leadership qualities. I received favorable employee reviews and referrals, as well as assist the company in generating over a million dollars of income.

Upon employment with the Tallahassee Police Department (May 2020). I have been able to use my leadership qualities and knowledge I have obtained throughout the 7 years of management experience and apply it to calls for service and relationships with fellow officers, supervisors, and the community. I have volunteered as a Peer Support Lead with TPD's Wellness division, a liaison and leader for academy recruits, and have become a strong representative of the City of Tallahassee. I have received two lifesaving awards, received favorable supervisor reviews, and maintained great working relationships with the community and the department.
