1. Assists flight production, control, issue & recovery of over 3,500 code components critical to the squadron mission & augments wing codes controller training..

2. Directs team effort to operate the section's computer system to generate & verify the accuracy of critical code components

3. Maintains comprehensive knowledge of doctrine, policy, control & procedures relating to the use of ICBM codes & code systems allocated to the 576 FLTS. Identifies issues & recommends solutions to programming issues which could be used for substantive changes in coding programs & processes.

4. Liaison with government employees & contractors to identify, troubleshoot & correct computer anomalies.

5. Conducts a quality control check of all files to ensure documentation is being maintained accurately and record keeping procedures adhere to guidelines posted in HHQ guidance and policy. Unit code controllers are trained on the proper procedures for records verification. Ensures proper classification of records and files containing effective edition of Program Verification System key, sortie configuration data, nuclear command and control material, squadron configuration records

6. Maintains the section's database, accounting for over 3,500 test code components, critical components, and codes related support equipment items.

7. Manages USSTRATCOM's Communication Security (COMSEC) account 613202, 30 SW's COMSEC account 623007/02 sub account 2, and unit COMSEC items and the section's supply account. I also adhere to policies and procedures for handling, storing, issuing and destroying all assigned COMSEC. Reviews all COMSEC material and regulations and ensures flight members are trained and up to date on current guidance/procedures. Reviews all COMSEC documents and records for 100% accuracy and performs COMSEC Responsible Officer duties.

8. Assists in tracking and reporting code/critical component needs, usage and repair through appropriate supply channels.

· Identifies, and maintains surveillance on low orbiting and deep space satellite vehicles using active and passive space surveillance systems.

· Detects and tracks sea launched and intercontinental ballistic missiles using system sensors. Detects and tracks earth satellites. Forwards information to appropriate command and control agency.

· Assesses, mitigates and resolve emissions. Plans satellite contacts, resolves emergencies, and performs satellite commanding during launch, early orbit, daily operations, and end-of-life testing.

Performs launch and on-orbit operations for military communications and Navstar Global Positioning System satellites. Provides on-orbit telemetry, tracking, and commanding for these and other satellite systems.

· Provides space lift operations support to fulfill war fighting and national requirements.

· Sustained nationally significant Joint Chief of Staff (JCS) directed $350 Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Force Development Evaluation (FDE) test program operations.

· Tested, inspected, troubleshot and performed maintenance repairs on launch facilities (LF) and missile alert facilities (MAF)

· Executed launch capability tests, operational directives, and post-launch LFsafing and evacuation directives

· Supervised and maintained an eleven man shop

· Maintained electronic command, control, monitoring and power generation equipment

· Lead Task Site Supervisor for all launch critical tasks

· Oversaw operation of $15M Wing Code Processor System & performed missile flight coding to support $350M ICBM testing program

· Generated Minuteman III targeting coordinated & configuration for ICBM flight program
