1. Assists flight production, control, issue & recovery of over 3,500 code components critical to the squadron mission & augments wing codes controller training..

2. Directs team effort to operate the section's computer system to generate & verify the accuracy of critical code components

3. Maintains comprehensive knowledge of doctrine, policy, control & procedures relating to the use of ICBM codes & code systems allocated to the 576 FLTS. Identifies issues & recommends solutions to programming issues which could be used for substantive changes in coding programs & processes.

4. Liaison with government employees & contractors to identify, troubleshoot & correct computer anomalies.

5. Conducts a quality control check of all files to ensure documentation is being maintained accurately and record keeping procedures adhere to guidelines posted in HHQ guidance and policy. Unit code controllers are trained on the proper procedures for records verification. Ensures proper classification of records and files containing effective edition of Program Verification System key, sortie configuration data, nuclear command and control material, squadron configuration records

6. Maintains the section's database, accounting for over 3,500 test code components, critical components, and codes related support equipment items.

7. Manages USSTRATCOM's Communication Security (COMSEC) account 613202, 30 SW's COMSEC account 623007/02 sub account 2, and unit COMSEC items and the section's supply account. I also adhere to policies and procedures for handling, storing, issuing and destroying all assigned COMSEC. Reviews all COMSEC material and regulations and ensures flight members are trained and up to date on current guidance/procedures. Reviews all COMSEC documents and records for 100% accuracy and performs COMSEC Responsible Officer duties.

8. Assists in tracking and reporting code/critical component needs, usage and repair through appropriate supply channels.
