In the spring of 1993, I worked as an interpreter during a mass communications festival in Perugia, Italy. It was my role to assist festival guests, participants, and dignitaries from other countries by serving as a translator during media exchanges, cultural functions, and for travel requirements.

I served as a volunteer interpreter for the Italian Women's Basketball Olympic Team. I was responsible for translating on-the-court player interviews as well as acting as interpreter for post game press conferences.
