  • Caregiver for my brother diagnosed with traumatic brain injury (TBI), PTSD, and substance abuse disorder. Coordinated his care through resources from Sound Mental Health, The Recovery Cafe, Union Gospel Mission, Swedish Hospital, and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. My brother recently passed away from AML Leukemia. My experience being a caregiver for my brother fuels my competence, compassion, and empathy as a social science specialist.
