Ellie Kim

Aided in set-up and clean-up of school-related events, from football games to holiday festivals, resulting in 100+ hours of community service. Organized and managed various school events during and outside of school hours. Fostered connections between staff, student government, and student body.

I perform and dedicate myself towards my Original Oratory speech, "Girlboss 2 The Moon!" and Impromptu. I participate in various speech tournaments in hopes of qualifying for the National Speech & Debate Tournament later this year.

Visited and aided poverty-stricken families residing in Fresno, California in collaboration with Harmony Korean Church. Assisted in youth worship and distributed food and essentials, resulting in 30+ hours of service.

Led an invested and educated group of leaders, dedicated in environmental advocacy and preservation. Collaborated with other individuals and clubs while leading various fundraising and donation events. Educated and informed others on the importance of environmental preservation.

Apart of the Valencia High School Tennis Team for 3 years. Collaborated and connected with coaches and teammates to foster safe and enjoyable matches. Dedicated time outside of school hours to travel, compete, and train for matches.

Effectively utilized my knowledge of the Korean language to tutor Korean students on reading, writing, and speaking English. Implemented and developed organized study materials, skills, and lessons. Fostered meaningful connections between students.

A devoted Girl Scout for 9 years, achieving both Bronze and Silver Awards. Donated 100+ hand-sewn pillowcases to St. Jude Medical, achieving the Silver Award. Utilized business skills and led various leadership events.
