Ellysa Emmer

I worked at a daycare for almost a year and a half. I worked with kids ages anywhere between 6 months-4 years old. Currently I am employed at Smart Choice, I am working with a four year old who has a rare disease. While providing care my duties included: dressing assistance, checking sugars every hour, tube feeding every three hours, giving baths when necessary, assisting with doctor appointments, helping with school work, measuring out meds and snacks. During the last eight weeks of the semester was clinicals, I chose Vista Point Senior Living Facility for clinicals. There I practiced numerous activities involving: physical, sensory, cognitive, and more with the residents.
