Over the early years of my career, I had a strong focus on maintenance & structural welding. The past 4 years I have dedicated my tome to mastering my craft as a boilermaker working in refineries. My goal is to use every situation I am in as a learning experience on how to execute every task with utmost precision and to hold safety in the highest regard, and to perform even better the next time the task is given to me. I have an extensive background in mechanical piping. Whether it be cooling water piping or process piping with many hazardous products, I have what it takes to remove, install, or repair the equipment with efficiency, quality, and most importantly safety.

My favorite duty that comes with my job is the repair and maintenance on heat exchangers. There are multiple components involved with heat exchangers. For example, the heat exchanger from front to back consists of a channel cover, channel head, bundle, shell, floating head, and bell head. Each component must be meticulously installed with extreme attention detail to assure proper alignment and that the gasket has a proper seal so that there are no leaks.

I have gained ample experience installing and removing valves as well. The most important thing when it comes to installing a valve is verifying the correct flow of the product and installing the valve accordingly with proper flange alignment. It is also critical that the correct bolts are installed according to the pipe specification, and the correct gasket with proper rating are installed according to flange rating and size.

I have performed work on many types of valves, that come in multiple different sizes as well, from 3/4 inch all the way up to over 30 inches. The types of valves I have experience with are, gate valves, ball valves, check valves, control valves, and butterfly valves.
