Previously worked toward a Graduate Gemologist certificate until COVID made it difficult and irresponsible to travel and take the required in-person lab classes which were subsequently cancelled and I have found my new passion in the financial industry.
Served on the board as the Child and Volunteer Protection Advocate (CVPA) for the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) region #870 from 2011 through 2018. Responsible for annual securing and screening volunteer applications, implementing policy, changes and safety procedures from the National Office including KidZone rules and Concussion training compliance. Worked Directly with the Regional Commissioner and Regional Safety Director. Attended annual workshops and trainings and monthly board meetings.
Served two terms as Vice President of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary, Aerie #25 Skagway, Alaska 2009 and 2010. Dedicated to fundraising and helping individuals and families in need and providing scholarships to graduating seniors or anyone on a scholarly mission.
