Emilee Wilson

Lead the department's Special Victims Unit supervising 15 detectives responsible for investigations involving child sexual abuse, criminal sexual conduct, child abuse, domestic violence, violent crime, and homicide.

Supervise approximately 150 investigations annually, ensuring timely, thorough, and victim-centered investigations.

• Manage multiple simultaneous high-priority investigations involving vulnerable victims.
• Reviewed digital evidence, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), to identify offenders and victims, preserving evidentiary integrity and supporting successful prosecutions.
• Developed investigative strategies and reviewed search warrants, arrest warrants, subpoenas, and investigative reports to enhance case outcomes and ensure legal compliance.
• Collaborate with prosecutors, Children's Advocacy Centers, forensic interviewers, medical providers, and partner agencies.
• Coordinate with federal law enforcement partners during human trafficking investigations.
• Provide investigative leadership by mentoring detectives, reviewing complex investigations, and helping build thorough, victim-centered cases that meet legal and prosecutorial standards.
• Present investigative findings and provide courtroom testimony during trial.
