• Participated in “Challenge Day” multiple times at Mashpee High School, providing support staff
• Regularly invited to high schools across Cape Cod to meet individually with students who had been assaulted or deemed at risk
• Other duties included presenting completed, required documentation for case management team meetings with Department of Children & Families; generating and maintaining records and program documentation according to organization standards and funding requirements; preparing and sustaining client files consistent with agency policies; submitting comprehensive and timely monthly and quarterly data reports to maintain program funding.

As a military spouse for 21 years there were periods during deployments when it was necessary for me to “hold down the fort“ at home and be a full time mom to our 3 sons, who were very young during this time. I am grateful for this time. It helped to make me the compassionate, strong person I am.

During this time I continued volunteer service for Independence House as an after hours Safe Home Advocate, and hotline volunteer.

• Established a new agency connection to the 102ND Fighter Wing
• Visited Mashpee and Falmouth High Schools weekly, providing students with knowledge on the dangers of dating abuse

• Facilitated a weekly domestic violence survivors’ group at Falmouth Hospital, 8-10 clients attended regularly
