Volunteer Experience

  • 2023, HuskyTHON: I participated as a dancer in the 2023 HuskyTHON event. HuskyTHON is a year-long effort to raise money for Connecticut Children's Hospital, a freestanding, non-profit children's hospital. The organization I danced for sponsors a miracle child which receives the organization's donation efforts.
  • 2018-2020, Clover Project: I volunteered over two years at The Clover Project, a non-profit organization that grows fruits and vegetables to deliver to those in need. I helped with the planting, garden maintenance, harvesting and delivery of the fresh fruits and vegetables.
  • 2012-2019, Relay for Life: I volunteered at the silent auction booth where I helped to set up the tables and prizes that were to be bid on. I supervised that bids were made in the proper dollar increments and that items were not taken out of the booth or damaged. I helped with the closing of the auctions and distribution of the prizes.
