  • Responsible for monitoring hospital staff attendance. Provide prompt notification to the employee's immediate supervisor when disciplinary action is required, in order to uphold the standards set forth by the organization.   • Receive and process formal patient complaints daily. Actively listen and empathize with the individual all while keeping a non biased, fair approach. I then enter the complaint into the appropriate software with clear details of the concerns. Notify all appropriate parties up to the Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Executive Officer of the complaint. Work as a liaison between patients and administrative staff. Correspond with the appropriate supervisor and administrators to determine the validity of the complaint and determine a reasonable resolution. Responsible for notifying the patient by letter of the findings and resolution within seven days to comply with The Joint Commission standards and hospital policy.
  • Routinely update hospital policies. I coordinate meetings between directors, physicians, and administrators to review and critique the policy to ensure that it meets the high standards upheld by the organization. Ensure all affected parties have signed acknowledging and agreeing with the policy revisions. Once the policy has been routed through the appropriate committees it is my responsibility to publish the changes accurately and promptly meeting a strict deadline.
  • Responsible for managing meetings for multiple administrative staff members daily utilizing both in person and Zoom meetings. I keep administrative staff on schedule by tediously monitoring the time and providing reminders of upcoming appointments.

I also run daily ER reports distributing the information to administrative staff while maintaining an accurate record of number of patients seen, patients who left without being seen, patients who were transferred to another facility, and patients who were admitted to the facility. The data is used to keep track of monthly and yearly trends.
