Interpreted for Mike Wallace, a 60 Minutes reporter, during his interview with a convicted Russian espionage agent in Danville Federal Correctional Institution.

Taught first and second year Russian language classes to university students in traditional classroom settings, self-paced classes and intensive summer programs. Supervised and mentored students, created the curriculum and learning materials, and provided cultural activities and organized field trips.

Taught first year Russian in an intensive eight week format to university students during the summer semester. Developed a curriculum and produced teaching materials in Russian and English. Assisted in creating a program of extracurricular cultural activities to supplement the classroom materials.

Viewed, transcribed and translated Soviet news broadcasts as they first became available to Americans via an orbiting Soviet satelite. Conferred with experts in Russian language, political science and economics for a better understanding of neologisms such as "perestroika" and "glasnost'."
