My name is Emma Grace Boyd. I am a gymnast at Auburn University where I have been given the opportunity to continue to pursue my athletic and gymnastics career. Being in the sport of gymnastics my entire life has taught me skills that will not only help me succeed in my sport, but succeed in life as well. Developing the skills of hard work, dedication, resilience, and many more similar characteristics will continue to help me throughout my life in terms of volunteering, collaboration, and getting and succeeding in my future job.
United Against Poverty helped to lift the lives of families in need and give back to those who need a hand to break free from poverty and unemployment. Volunteering here allowed be to provide another hand to the organization as well as give an increased amount of help and support.
Edgewood Children's Ranch was a wonderful and special place to volunteer at. Giving my time and effort into those who are in need and adding value to the organization and environment was great.
