Anesthetic Planning: Advanced knowledge of anesthetic agents, pharmacokinetics/dynamics, drug interactions, and individualized anesthetic planning across diverse surgical populations and comorbidities
Airway Management: Skilled in direct and video laryngoscopy, supraglottic airway placement, intubation, and advanced airway techniques including awake intubation and fiberoptic approaches
Regional & Neuraxial Anesthesia: Competent in performing spinal, epidural, and peripheral nerve blocks under ultrasound guidance in support of multimodal analgesia and ERAS protocols
Hemodynamic Monitoring & Vascular Access: Proficient in the placement and management of arterial lines, central venous catheters (Ultrasound & Landmark), and peripheral IVs; adept at interpreting invasive and non-invasive monitors to guide intraoperative decision-making
Anesthetic Delivery: Independently manages general, regional, and MAC anesthetics tailored to surgical procedure and patient physiology; skilled in titrating anesthetics and vasoactive agents for optimal outcomes
Pediatric & Obstetric Anesthesia: Exposure to pediatric and OB anesthesia, including safe application of neuraxial techniques, fetal monitoring interpretation, and management of patients across the lifespan
Anesthesia Equipment Proficiency: Experienced with anesthesia machines, ventilators, and monitors; skilled in troubleshooting and ensuring safe equipment use in various OR settings
