Enthusiastic substitute teacher with a passion for fostering young children's growth. Skilled in relationship-building and creating engaging learning environments to support student confidence and development.
I am currently working as a substitute teacher for Las Cruces Public Schools. I especially enjoy working in the Pre-K classrooms because I love helping young children learn, explore, and build confidence. I often work in early childhood education settings because I have a passion for working with young children and supporting their growth during these important early years. Being able to interact with and positively impact the lives of little ones is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.
I worked at Little Playmates for two years, where I gained valuable experience working with children of different ages. During my time there, I worked in the infant room, caring for babies and supporting their developmental needs. I also worked with the one-year-old and two-year-old classrooms, helping children learn and grow through daily activities and routines. In addition, I assisted in the Pre-K classroom whenever extra support was needed, which allowed me to gain experience working with older preschool-aged children. This experience helped me develop strong skills in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children.
