Helped clean up incorrect membership numbers and increased % organized in ATTM unit from 69% to currently 73% and at times up to 77%.
  • Led and supported various NLRB campaigns.
  • Supported the launch of two new pre-majority locals in Colorado and Arizona. Coordinated and supported the organizing and growth for the locals through trainings, campaign planning, PAF recruitment, caucus and committee development, tracking and list building.

  • Coordinated all external and internal organizing for the local by building leads in media, non-profits, interpreters and other relatable units. Grew membership in low percentage units, identified leaders & stewards, built mobilizing structures during contract campaigns.
  • Collaborated with other locals in leading the Digital First Media Workers campaign against Alden Global Capital by organizing & mobilizing across 13 union papers across the country through joint bargaining for a fair contract. Through this campaign, we identified leads in non-union DFM papers to organize, which built the foundation for some to organize in the following years.
  • Built political and community solidarity for the Denver Post workers fight against their hedge fund owner and for a community free press through a 6 month contract fight that escalated pressure to a lunch rally outside the Denver Post office building. This organizing led to the first 3% raise for all 13 DFM owned union papers across the country. The first raise since 2009.

  • Coordinated and supported the 6 month picket line for the 7 unjustly fired leaders at Mr. Greens campaign through, political, community & faith leadership support, press and social media , ULP charges, solidarity days of actions, handbilling at additional employer locations and most importantly holding the line for 6 months.
  • Organized for the follow up efforts of the Target at Valley Stream campaign through, handbilling and blitzing store locations, homevisiting, phone banking and engaging the OC on the continued fight of the unfair loss of the election.
