- My responsibilities are to test chemicals that are used to make the composite fiber product, inspect, test and give a passing or failing opinion or put a hold on product until further testing is done by me.
- Test samples of products are produced 3 times a day and I run tests such as concavity, flex, shear and dye testing.
- I perform testing with the use of calipers, compression machines, dye and other tools.
- I also am supervisor and help run the production machine that produces our composite fiber poles (round, square or rectangular) that can range from 20-60 ft.
- I also keep inventory of our chemicals and poles that come off the machine as well as waste and I am to come up with more efficient ways to make the process safer and to produce more product in a timely manner.
- As part of my contract I am to help in the custom fabrication dept when needed.
- In addition to my QA duties I am to inspect and approve all incoming and outgoing goods/jobs.
- I do training when needed and have weekly reports done in my areas of the business that get sent to the CEO of the company.
- I am to keep up with KPI's, outlook mail and keep records of all testing and inventory on excel.
