In my role as an armed Security Officer at St. Joseph's Hospital, my primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of our staff, patients, and visitors. This involves promptly responding to incidents involving violent or disruptive individuals among patients or visitors. I conduct patrols of the hospital premises both on foot and using vehicles to maintain a secure environment. I was trained to effectively restrain individuals who display combative or disruptive behavior. As one of the armed security officers trained by TAINOS-TAC, I was prepared to be the initial responder in the event of an active shooter situation, and take immediate action to protect our hospital grounds and everyone within.
I'm an enthusiast for challenging hikes, outdoor experiences like camping and fishing, as well as trail rides. Staying active by participating in group workouts, sports, and other energetic activities is another passion of mine. I find joy in helping others whenever possible.
