As part of my responsibilities in my position I have been involved in the complete tear down and rebuild of equipment, both mechanical and electrical. Was highly involved in the large addition and integration of the old packing house with a new and larger more efficient plant. This included new offices, new plant, waste water system upgrade, along with helping to determine the proper equipment upgrades and solutions. Was able to continue to learn new procedures and techniques from a variety of co-workers, outside contractor, and experts in certain specialized equipment suck as metal detectors and x-ray machines used in food processing.

Performed preventive maintenance on all machinery throughout the entire plant. I was also tasked with helping to bring the quality assurance department and quality control lab and reorganize the departmental area shop up to speed on new procedures and best practices with minimal involvement of from management aside from approval of suggested replacement parts and rebuild kits. Also assisted in training new employees to perform troubleshooting on equipment quickly and safely.
