My job as a Oven tender was to keep pipes from venturing or hitting the inside of the oven, so they wouldn't get stuck. Also keeping the hydraulic fluids in the hydraulic arms the push the to center. Along with that to assist my coworkers whenever the pipe would get off track. ran the control booth to maneuver pipes and crane to lift pipe into desired position or places. My job was keeping a open eye on the oven and making sure everything flowed normally. At time I had to manually roll pipe to its proper place..
