It all started with my father introducing me to Tae Kwon Do which is the South Korean style of Kickboxing. When I first began training in Tae Kwon Do I was truthfully horrible at it and always messing up, yet I never gave up. Over time I would run, stretch, train and spar against my teammates who always motivated me to achieve my personal best everyday at practice. Eventually the Dojo became my home everyday after school for 2 hours a day Monday-Friday and even on Saturday mornings which is conditioning day I would train with my teammates and Coach 8AM-10AM. My Coach would soon realize that I was excelling extremely fast sparking his interest to see me in a live competition setting where many would take notice of my achievements as I continued to take consecutive gold medals. Word quickly spread amongst the Tae Kwon Do Union allowing me to meet Master Kim who was president of the TKD Union, allowing me to train at Dojos in the Bay Area, trained with athletes from other countries who where on a athletics visas, and one of my proudest moments was training with 2x Olympic Team members Chris and Steven Lopez who represented the United States in 2004 and 2008. I have acquired a total of 13 medals in my Tae Kwon Do career during my most competitive years which consists of a Junior Olympics Medal, 3x US OPENS Gold, and many All California State Championship Golds. Thank you for taking the time to read a brief summary of my athletic performance and accomplishments.
Sincerely,
