- Projects consisting of the oordinating and installing the then Meridian Hotel on canal st, now J.W. Marriott from ground up. 21 story of the Hilton Towers, and ballrooms, 7 story revamp of the Marriott Hotel, numerous renovations at the Bourbon Orleans during my 10 year tenure as handling all flooring installations and repairs. Same during my 13 year tenure at the Royal Sonesta Hotel on Bourbon st., , countless school and hospital renovations from 5-100,000 square foot new and old .I’ve done many dormitory buildings and administrative builds att both Dillard and Xavier Universities. At the time 1980 thru 1984 (One Shell Square I worked hand in hand with building management on many flooring renovations, I played a pivayol role at the most recent building at the WWII Museum, and post Katrina revamping of a the Roosevelt Hotel, the Jung Hotel, Just to name a few.
- Although these projects were done in a flooring contractor capacity I’ve learned the skills of coordinating work around other trades, understand reaching deadlines, pacing workflow with crafts, utilizing manpower to make it a fluid exchange to reach deadlines and ensuring materials are at the ready to not interrupt workflow, and maintain a safe work environment.
