Summary

As stated in my resume I am currently enrolled in the state sponsored program that would allow me to take a step towards assuming the role of an assistant building official. Currently many of my fellow attendees are actively working in some capacity at a building department within the state of Connecticut and our instructors encourage us to seek out opportunities as they present themselves. I am excited to be part of an important program that begins at the federal, state and local municipalities levels in ensuring the safety of the general public. Organized and dependable candidate successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. Willingness to take on added responsibilities to meet the goals of the building department and to work in conjunction with the fire and health departments as the need arises. Responsible for the installation of necessary wiring of many residential and some commercial projects. Most of the residential homes are of the "high-end" type as they are located in Lower Fairfield County.

The projects require me to layout the necessary electrical components i.e. switches, outlets, fixture boxes, recess lighting etc. as stipulated by the authority in charge of each project and to maintain strict code compliance.

The installation of service equipment as well as the incorporation of stand-by generator equipment.

Determine the proper circuits and wiring of equipment installed by other contractors i.e. heating/cooling units, water pumps, and pool equipment to name a few.

The installation of devices, lighting fixtures and other components involved with ongoing project.

Activation of service equipment, installation of circuit breakers and testing of each item involved with the completion of each project.
