Summary

I am married and have four wonderful boys. I love to watch them grow and succeed in sports and in school. My favorite hobby is gardening. I grow various flowers and vegetables. Our family loves to fish and taking long walks throughout our neighborhood. Every summer we vacation in Ocean City, Maryland and when we’re there we never want to leave! It’s our favorite place. I’m very easy to get along with, and I’m always willing to help others if I’m able. I do not like confrontation or “work drama” but I know how to deal with those types of situations. One of my main goals in life is to succeed as a parent and at my workplace. My number one goal is to raise my sons to be respectful, honest and have all 4 of them succeed as adults… but more importantly be happy.

Food Service Worker

Aramark
09.2021 - 12.2021
  • I worked as a cashier at the Northampton Area School District.
  • You have to be fast-paced when students came through your line to pay for their food, and also made sure there wasn’t any theft taking place.
  • I would restock food and drink items after all students were fed.
  • Being friendly always helps while working in a school. Students look forward to seeing me. In my personal opinion, kids these days have it tough (homework, sports, keeping up in every class, life at home and their responsibilities and the expectations of their parents.) Students were glad to see me as I was happy to see them as well.

Wait Staff Member

Moya LCC
06.2009 - 09.2021
  • Provided excellent customer service to diners, taking orders, delivering food and drinks, and resolving any issues that arose.
  • Multi-tasking: Waitressing often requires juggling multiple tasks at once, such as taking orders, delivering food to tables, answering the phone and making reservations, preparing adult beverages and cleaning tables/section.
  • Waitressing requires flexibility, being able to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Cash and credit card slips handling. At this location we did not operate with a cash register. The wait staff was in charge of bringing in their own cash/coin to use for patrons change. When clocking in we would type in the amount of change we had. At the end of the night the computer figured out what needed to be paid in or what needed to be paid out to wait staff.
  • Teamwork: In order for everything to run accordingly we helped each other at the drop of the hat. To me, getting along with your colleagues is extremely important.
  • Timing: As a waitress, you always had to have eyes on your section. If diners were almost done with their appetizers you would send a message from the computer to the chef to so he knew to send up their main dishes.
  • At the end of the night wait staff were required to tip out 20% to our food runners and bussers. You always had to be 100% honest and accurate because the final slips at the end of the night will show what should have been tipped out.
