• performing punch biopsies
• assisting with surgical procedures ( skin cancer/cyst excisions)
• stocking rooms
• cleaning and packaging instruments
• administering injections (cortisone/biologic shots)
• administering numbing (lidocaine w/ epinephrine)
• venipuncture
• enter/send prescriptions

• I was employed with Wishard/Eskenazi Health for 7 years as a Certified Medical Assistant in the Dermatology Clinic.
• I was responsible for: rooming patients obtaining vital signs charting scheduling appointments cleaning/stocking rooms setting up materials for biopsies and minor surgeries cleaning/packaging medical instruments drawing blood administering injections drawing up medications keeping record of every biopsy performed in our clinic.
• During the last year and a half of my empIoyment, I also floated to the Orthopedic, Neurology, Anesthesia Pain, Urology and ENT clinics.

• I worked as an extern for IU Health Dermatology for 2 months as required to complete my training as a Medical Assistant from Kaplan College.
• My job duties entailed: Rooming patients Obtaining vital signs and general patient information.

• I worked at Taco Bell as a summer job during highschool.
• I helped cook, clean, as well as run the cash register.
