Promoted through five levels of increasing responsibility during 12+ years with Suntec Concrete, progressing from entry-level Laborer to Supervisor. Built extensive hands-on structural concrete experience before advancing into multi-crew field leadership and project operations.
- Direct daily field operations involving 25–30 craft workers through 5–6 Foremen, establishing priorities, allocating manpower, coordinating resources, and removing obstacles to maintain production.
- Perform look-ahead planning to anticipate manpower, materials, equipment, concrete, pump requirements, crane access, and jobsite logistics before they affect schedule.
- Coordinate directly with General Contractors, other trades, field crews, suppliers, and concrete dispatch to align schedules, access, resources, and changing project priorities.
- Plan and execute major concrete placements reaching approximately 5,000 cubic yards in a single night, coordinating manpower, pumps, equipment, materials, placement sequencing, concrete ordering, and delivery flow.
- Coordinate crane scheduling and allocation between crews and construction activities to maximize utilization and minimize production delays.
- Oversee structural concrete scopes including footings, tilt-up construction, structural columns and walls, elevated decks, formwork, and shoring systems.
- Work extensively with PERI, Aluma, and Aluma Skydeck forming, decking, and shoring systems and design/build custom formwork for project-specific field conditions.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and structural prints to plan work, identify requirements, and resolve field challenges.
- Train and mentor workers on equipment, construction systems, procedures, and safe work practices while developing employees for advancement into Leadman and Foreman positions.
- Provide practical instruction supporting company equipment and rigging training programs.
- Communicate and enforce company and project safety requirements while continuously evaluating operations for safer and more efficient methods.
- Maintain zero recordable incidents while serving as a Foreman or Supervisor.
- Consistently maintain assigned scopes on schedule while solving changing field challenges with a focus on Safety, Quality, and Production.
