  • Serving over the past two years as the South America subject matter expert on violent extremist networks operating throughout the continent, and their impacts on domestic and international security, and illicit trafficking.
  • Occasionally assist with Political/Military topics for Andean Ridge countries, and Central America. Develop and present executive level briefings to the U.S. Army South Commanding General, General Staff, military, and inter-agency customers operating throughout the area of responsibility.

  • Deployed: Served in a variety of positions while deployed in support of OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM to include regional command senior analyst, Afghan National Security Force Development Analyst and Insurgency Analyst.
  • Tasked for additional duties such as organizing social events, conducting investigations for Judge Advocate General, and accountability for sensitive items inventory.

  • Watch Floor intelligence analyst informing the J2 of real-time intelligence impacts of events occurring within the SOUTHCOM area of responsibility, and assisted in the production of daily read books for the general staff.

All-Source Intelligence Analyst (Army MOS 35F)

  • Junior intelligence analyst for 8th U.S. Army, Yong-in, South Korea creating and analyzing intelligence products with 3rd Republic of Korea Army intelligence counterparts (OCT 2003 - OCT 2004).
  • Assigned to 3rd Brigade, 101st Airborne Division as an intelligence sergeant in support of upcoming counter-terrorism operations. Conducted two rotations to Joint Readiness Training Center within a four year timeframe.
  • Additional duty as the battalion's personnel security representative tracking and updating clearances and investigations for 300+ personnel.
  • Twice deployed in support of OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM to various locations throughout Iraq conducting counter insurgency operations, population stabilization, targeting, link analysis, and training Iraqi counterparts.
