In this role, I have developed strong partnerships with local grassroots organizations and government agencies to advocate for individuals eligible for SNAP benefits in Oswego County. I organize public education workshops in Oswego County to raise awareness about food security, and conduct SNAP outreach and signups through innovative communication campaigns.

Established strong communication channels between Spanish-speaking families and the Fulton City School District. I proactively improved families' resource access through engagement with community stakeholders and organized events, cultivating cross-cultural understanding.

Crafted targeted marketing content across a wide range of topics and resonated with diverse audiences, which demonstrates my ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively. I collaborated closely with editors to ensure that the final deliverables exceeded clients' expectations.

Spearheaded a range of communications deliverables for USAID's Sustainable Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Systems Partnership, receiving accolades for creating compelling messaging and high-quality content. Additionally, I doubled the Twitter followers of the @SWSpartnership account within five months.

Played a pivotal role in shaping the editorial direction of this progressive news outlet, enhancing the quality of news content, and growing readership to 680,000 subscribers. With over 2,000 bylines, I informed readers about Latin American women's rights, elections, and immigration.

I coached and mentored 10 gap-year students, their host families, and apprenticeship supervisors, fostering cultural understanding among participants. I accomplished this through regular and strategic visits, excursions, curriculum, and celebrations for all stakeholders. Additionally, I provided mentorship and professional support to media students, facilitating academic growth and industry readiness.

In this role, I played a critical role in innovative projects that explore sustainable urban farming practices and their socio-economic impacts. I co-authored an educational video and survey, the results of which contributed to academic discourse on urban agriculture, with a particular focus on community engagement, cultural understanding, and policy development in Southern Arizona. My work fostered public and private sector cooperation in addition to engineering food security and environmental resilience in urban settings.
