• Provide basic healthcare to students and staff.
• Manage 4-5 Registered Nurses who provide direct care in the classroom.
• Develop health plans for students with chronic illnesses and disabilities.
• Educate students and staff on healthy habits, such as proper nutrition and hygiene.
• Administration of necessary medications at school per physician orders and school policies.
• Supervise the student’s self-administration of necessary medications at school per physician orders and school policies.
• Implement Federal, State and County health-related mandates.
• Plan and perform vision and hearing screenings as required by the State.
• Act in concert with legal requirements and ethical codes of the profession.
• Report all violations of rules and regulations to the building Principal or Vice Principal.
