  • Conduct routine field readings and inspections on instrumentation including: piezometers, observation wells, weirs, relief drains, inclinometers, seepage flow rate, temperatures, and pressure data from manual and automated sources.
  • Collect and process data using automated data systems such as Canary Systems.
  • Importing/exporting data, creating charts and spreadsheets with collected data
  • Diagnose instrumentation errors, sensor failures, and power communication issues in the field.
  • Perform routine maintenance on/around instrumentation to ensure visibility and accessibility. Duties such as: painting, weed eating, and flagging.
  • Performing routine maintenance on rain gauge instrumentation and analyzing hydroelectric dam surveillance data.
  • Conduct manual borehole logging to collect data for dam safety and monitoring programs.
  • Operate downhole instrumentation including: Gyroscope, Acoustic Televiewer, Downhole Imaging Instrumentation, Gamma, Caliper, and Optical Televiewer.
  • Collecting and processing data from downhole instrumentation and borehole logging.
  • Performing field surveys and collecting data using Global Navigation Satellite Systems with Real- Time Kinematic and laser leveling.
  • Locating and marking boreholes, shooting and monitoring data points, recording elevation, Northing and Easting data for survey points, and working with coordinate systems for integration into GIS and engineering models.
  • Collaborate with geologist, engineers and drill crews to support safe and accurate site layout and post installation documentation.
  • Install, calibrate and maintain Aqua Troll multiparamater sonde and water loggers in wells, boreholes and piezometers.
  • Collecting and processing data from multiparameter sonde including: pH, conductivity, temperature, depth to water, etc.
  • Observing routine sight inspections for sink holes, depressions, and mudshows.
  • Currently serving sixth year as an Upper Coosa Safety Committee chairman.



Diesel/Hydraulic Technician

  • Perform maintenance, and repair of military support vehicles and heavy equipment.
  • Assembly and disassembly of engines and starters used in Combat vehicles.
