Currently working at the Alaska ENI Nikaitchuq OPP facility as a maintenance electrician employed by the contractor Udelhoven.

• Work locations at Federal U.S. Customs Border Facilities: Alcan Port of Entry (Tok, AK), Dalton Cache Port of Entry (Haines,AK), and Skagway Port of Entry (Skagway, AK).
• U.S. Military Bases: Clear Space Base, Eielson Airforce base, and Fort Wainright Army Base.
• Maintenance performed: painting, plumbing, boilers, HVAC, and septic systems.
• Construction: Backup generators, VFDs, softstarts, fire suppression systems, heat trace, transformers, PLC controls and Cat 5e data systems.

.Company Overview: Worked in the Small Projects Division for the oil company ENI Nikaitchuq location, on the North Slope.

• This job required us to work in a highly volatile atmospheres located in well houses, tank farms, and oil processing plants
• This hazard required us to write daily JSAs, daily Toolbox topics, work permits, and participate in safety programs
• The type of work involved heat trace installation, instruments, PLC cabinets, high voltage (4160, 13.8K), insulation tests (meg), and Classified Area electrical work.
• Was laid off from ENI Nikaitchuq location with the onset of Covid. Date: March 2020.
• Udelhoven brought me back up to Miline Pt. to help finish a project they had going on. Date: April to May, 2020, total of 4 weeks.

• The project is the construction of a new hospital in Bethel Alaska
• Job consists of running conduit, working with MC cable, installing low voltage lighting controls, megging panel feeders, and redlining plans

• Worked in the mine processing mill and camp facilities
• Trouble shot and performed maintenance on mill equipment: PH probes, instruments, lighting, motors, fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, PLC systems, soft starts, VFDs, sewer lift stations, water pumps, pneumatic valves, 4-20ma devices, heat trace, and cranes.
• Performed maintenance in the water plant.
• The ore was loaded into ships so worked on the port facilities and conveyor systems.
• The mill ran on 4160 and 480 volt systems.
• Worked on and around high voltage switchgear, racking buckets in and out, wearing proper PPE (40 cal suit) and using proper lockout tag-out procedures
• Trained to start and run backup generators (2 Meg) during a power outage.
• Required to do computer work: filling out job reports, generating work orders, ordering parts, and online training courses.
• Used Microsoft OneNote for information exchange between coworkers.

• Traveled around the state of Alaska to remote locations, west coast villages, performing commercial work.
• This consisted of heating system controls, heat trace, automatic septic systems, water treatment plant controls, plan redlines, and trouble shooting power quality issues.
• Also, had to work with Microsoft Excel, filling out material orders and performing payroll.

• Performed commercial and industrial work at three new projects: a K-12 school, Bristol Bay fish processing plant, and medical clinics
• This included; VFD programming, generator trouble-shooting, rock crusher maintenance, motor controls, cable tray installation, training personnel, monitoring systems, redlining plans, installing data cables, and fire alarm systems which included sprinkler systems.

• Company Overview: Hertz Electric was my father's company.
• I did my apprenticeship through him.
• This consisted of residential, commercial, and Industrial work..

• Installed a new power distribution system throughout Skagway's small boat harbor, providing power at each boat stall.

• After achieving my Alaska Electrical Administrator license, I started my own electrical contracting company.
• Performed residential, commercial, and industrial work.

• Traveled around the state to remote locations working on airport runway systems, military base housing project, and a medical clinic remodel.

• Company Overview: Alaska North slope oil fields, Kuparuk and Miline Pt.
• Worked a 4 and 2 rotation in the Northslope oil fields doing industrial work that consisted of running armored cable, installing instruments, high voltage systems, heat trace, control cabinets, redlining plans, training personnel, running a crew, writing daily reports and participating in various safety programs.

• Worked in Valdez doing commercial work on a new Alyeska oil response center.
• Also worked in Haines installing a ground water oil recovery system in an old Federal military fuel tank farm.
• These jobs consisted of installing heat trace, lighting controls, motor controls, alarm systems, monitoring systems, and standard commercial/ industrial electrical work.

• This job had me doing marine electrical work on the large fishing fleets scattered up and down the Aleutian chain.
• This marine work consisted of installing, repairing, and doing maintenance on the following systems: generators, 480vac switchgear, soft-starts, motor starters, fire alarm systems, security systems, fish processing equipment, refrigeration controls, heating controls, DC power systems, and communication systems.

• Installed two 80kw generators in the Chilkoot Lumber sawmill power grid
