- At FISD I put all of my skills to use and learned so much hands on in surgery and lab
- On Tuesdays and Thursdays we do Admin days, this is making sure insurance is billed, test result are all in the charts. Setting up appointments and injection training
- Keep up with PT charts and I make sure all my blood draws are prepped for the next appt. Blood draws prepped up to 6 weeks ahead during monitoring. As also a Donor intake coordinator I also get to screen egg/sperm/surrogate donors before being matched
- I answer calls and am able to be with patients from start to finish by getting their portal started and then getting their first appt scheduled.
- My daily duties include following up with patients, making sure billing is done and Dr has Signed off on all previous week in clinic appointments
- I spend one week of the month preparing for Retrieval day, (our superbowl) because we have our surgeries once a month
- Prepping all consent forms before and reports for the anesthesiologist, as well as preparing all bins with what is needed for each procedure
- I really developed a love for the admin work here because I am so much more aware of our patients and it helps know each one by name and their history.

- My responsibilities were being the main person to draw blood when the phlebotomist is gone for the day
- I prepped all blood labs the day before so that team members can now how many tubes and what colors were needed
- Because of my retail background I took the initiative to take over the inventory for my department weekly and I have helped reduce some cost as well as organize our supplies and made them easily accessible
- Clinically I scribed for two doctors and also assist in procedures such as IUI, SHG, and endometrial biopsies by preparing the room and also providing doctor with any information needed.

Volunteer Experience
- SoCal Spring Special Olympics, 05/20/23, Medical CPR assistant and Photographer, I volunteered to be a Medical CPR assistant and was also a photographer for the event. I was able to take pictures of the athletes and get to talk to them about the passion for the games.
- Boxing Coach and Photographer, 2016, Present, Being a former boxer I chose to help kids, especially girls, with boxing and teach them fundamentals and also how to protect their bodies. I educate their parents on the importance of protective equipment so that they grow up and not have any issues like i did. Because many cant afford photographers, I volunteer my time as a USA Boxing photographer and shoot at their events and local gyms. I started doing the same when covid began but in Tijuana and became a member of the Comite.
