As a front desk agent of Staybridge Suites in Irvine, Ca. I was the first impression of guests. I made sure arrivals were organized in the computer system as well as the routings for the payment method. In regards to departures, I made sure the guests were departed from the suite by the check out time. I was responsible for the guests to request a late check out when needed. Another task was to print reports, and create reservations for my sales director's clients. With that being said, I also assisted the director with preparing for "special" clients' arrival. The biggest responsibility of being a front desk agent is to accommodate guests. Besides my customer care duty, I was also an administrative assistant. In example, I assisted my sales department, general manager, and guest services manager to complete to reports. The key in being part of the hospitality industry is to make sure guests feel as welcomed, cared for, comfortable, and safe a possible.
As a cashier, I worked at the front end attending customers that are ready for check out. It was also my responsibility to attend customers with any questions, concerns or advise. When I had sales floor tasks, I rearranged some departments and or organized new inventory brought for display. When in stock room, I processed the new inventory brought in, such as placing hard tags on items or placing the clothes on hangers.
