Zenith Bank Debit Card Terms and Conditions
1. Definition
1.1 'Account' means an account from which payments are made under the Card Association Rules.
1.2 'Card' means the debit card issued to you under the Card Association Rules.
1.3 'PIN' means personal identification number issued to or selected by the Cardholder.
1.4 'Cardholder' means the person to whom a Card is issued by us.
1.5 'Merchant' means a retailer or any other person, firm or corporation that accepts cards.
1.6 'We', 'us', 'our' means Zenith Bank and its successors and assigns.
1.7 'You', 'your' means the Cardholder.
2. The Account
2.1 Your Account is governed by our Personal or Business Banking Terms and Conditions.
2.2 We may debit the Account with all transactions made and amounts owed by you.
3. The Card
3.1 The Card is our property and must be returned to us on request.
3.2 You must sign the Card immediately upon receipt.
3.3 The Card is not transferable and may only be used by the person to whom it is issued.
4. Safeguarding the Card and PIN
4.1 You must take all reasonable steps to keep the card safe and all card details secure.
4.2 You must not disclose your PIN to anyone.
5. Use of information
5.1 We may disclose any information we have about you to any person we believe in good faith to be acting on your behalf.
6. Fees and charges
6.1 You must pay all fees and charges applicable to the Card.
7. Termination
7.1 We may terminate this agreement at any time.
8. General
8.1 This agreement is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
