• I work as machinist here, running a Haas ST-35Y Lathe. I make parts to rebuild hydraulic cylinders and make brand new hydraulic cylinders. Every single part from the piston and a new chrome rod all the way down to a brand new housing for a cylinder.

• I worked in the steel pipe division as a welder. It was an electronic CNC welder. The pipe started as a flat steel coil and it would go through rollers and fork the pipe. It would then come to the welder where I would weld the seam all the way down and trim all the slag off the weld. I would adjust the rollers as needed to get roll marks out of the pipe.

• As as welder I held the most responsibility in the mill. I had the power to shut down and start up the entire mill as well as give certain areas power to the mill.

• I ran CNC Press Brakes, CNC punches, plasmas and CNC Lasers
• Double-checked each completed project to ensure that it complied with all blueprint requirements
• I worked with steel and aluminum. Sizes on steel varied from 20 gauge steel sheet metal (.036”) to 3/8” Plate steel. Aluminum sizes ranges from .045” sheets to 1/4” plate.

• I welded and repaired Mine Cars and lime salt containers for the Coal Mines.
• I ran a CNC Lathe in our machine shop making parts for various different steel mills and coal mines.

• I sorted through structure for the coal mines. Cleaning it and rebuilding it as needed. Then putting it on pallets to be re delivered.
• Built fire suppression systems for the Coal Mines.
• Helped mechanics in my spare time with the J-Loaders they’d rebuild for the Coal Mines.
