  • Crosswind Church:
  • I volunteered at our local church for visual graphics. Every Sunday I would show up to the church to help open. I would help unlock the doors, turn on TV’s, lights and make sure the graphics are ready for Sunday morning services. I would help in other areas such as sound. I would at times be the one that leadership asked to shout everything down and make sure the church was locked up.

Volunteer

1 Month
River Valley Ranch | 07.2025 - 08.2025

lived on the property Sunday - Friday. Our days involved working outside. We were in charge of upkeep of the 500+ acre property's. I was a part of a crew of 9 people. I was able to work alongside this group of people everyday. We all stayed on the property till the weekend. Beside the everyday hard work (weed whacking, building a cattle fence, and carrying gravel uphill) in hot summer heat I was able to learn some great life skills. It forced me and the people that I was working with to communicate with each other. If problems came up we had to deal with it. I also learned what it meant to be patient. I was one of the workers that was willing to take on more of a leadership role. Encouraging others, showing them perseverance. I feel that the skills that I have obtained at RVR have prepared me for the next steps in a career.
