In 2015 I joined David Crockett Steam Fire Co. as a junior fireman, and after learning many valuable firefighting skills as well as assisting in on-scene activities, once I turned 18, I was prepared to become a trained volunteer of the David Crockett Fire Dept. After a few years of assisting on scenes, I was finally ready to go through rookie school to become a certified firefighter.
