Growing up I have always been an outgoing individual with well-honed organizational, skills. Moreover, I am Enthusiastic and team-driven with over 5 years of team building and leadership. From my involvement in my many endeavors as a member of the National Honor Society to my many trips as a representative of my high school when I am given a task I make sure that it is completed to the best of my ability. However, as a floor governor, I must go beyond excellent, an endeavor that I believe I am ready for.
Although I do not hold a high leadership role in these clubs, being a member has given me valuable experience in watching how bringing different groups together and promoting inclusivity. Through the club, I've gained skills in bridging divides and fostering open communication between people from marginalized identities and backgrounds. As a floor governor, understanding diverse perspectives and needs would be essential to representing all residents and their needs.
I helped bring people to their preferred locations while also checking IDs to ensure that people were where they were supposed to be. This allowed me to pay attention to detail as well as improve my documentation and safety/analysis skills.
I go to the gym as a way of relieving any stress I believe that at least being on the treadmill for 30 min can vastly improve my mental health. As well as allowing me to become a better decision maker.
